When it comes to timeless toys, few have captivated the hearts of children and adults alike as Barbie. Since her creation in 1959, Barbie has remained an iconic figure, inspiring imagination, creativity, and a sense of fashion. So, what better way to celebrate a special occasion, like a birthday, than with a fabulous Barbie-themed party?
What an exciting treat it has been to watch the glamorous details come to life for this Barbie party, hosted by one of our favourite party lovers! In her blog, Lauren writes that she's passionate about making homes beautiful - whether it's a full-scale renovation, styling for the season or decorating for a party! Lauren styled and made most of the items she used herself, including the beautiful balloon garland she hung over the table as well as some of the details for the theme. She created the Barbie cake topper and thank you tag herself with her cricut machine. One of my favourite part of her set up is that she added a few elegant touches that were on Barbie theme and created a lovely shimmering, pink palette. We often get asked about licensed themes which we don't carry in the shop. Lauren beautifully showcases how to work with our basic collections to pull a popular theme together. Best part for me is that not everything needed to be matchy matchy.
